We are a welcoming, caring and loving church committed to sharing God's word with all and proclaiming the peace and love of Jesus in the community. St Mary's has an active community, meeting throughout the week at various events and meetings, offering something for everyone.
As the Choir at St Mary’s we aim to foster a warm, loving fellowship group who will sing as one to the glory of God. We are here primarily to serve God and the worshipping community at St. Mary’s, thereby helping everyone to come closer to God in worship and allow the Holy Spirit move among us and within us.
Sadly, Shine! has disbanded after 21 years. It was St Mary's Music Group, and now leaves the way open for another group of enthusiastic young musicians to start anew.
The Ensemble is a very happy and enthusiastic newly formed music group who simply love making music together! Instrumentalists and singers provide the music for the more informal 10 O’clock service on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Our repertoire of worship songs, and hymns just keeps growing! At the moment we are exploring gospel music, medieval folk music as well as continuing to work on Irish music. Our Group leader is Lorraine Eldridge.
House Groups - or Bible Study Groups - are groups of people who meet at someone's house to discuss a topic from the Bible. These are times of great fun and fellowship - and what is said in the group stays in the group!
